How Red Light Therapy Works
Red light therapy (photobiomodulation) is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate cellular healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance energy production. Lufalight devices use the two most clinically studied wavelengths:

The Role of Mitochondria
When these light wavelengths penetrate your cells, they are absorbed by the mitochondria (the powerhouses of your cells). This absorption stimulates cytochrome c oxidase, an enzyme involved in cellular energy production, leading to the generation of more ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate).
